ISAC Celebrated its 40th Birthday in October 2008!
-and members past and present, marked the occasion in style.
Not a club to do things by halves, a celebratory weekend was held with around 45 folk enjoying a weekend of diving, walking, talks, slide shows, caving, dancing, reminiscing and wonderful food. Inchnadamph (Innis nan Damh) Lodge in the north west of Scotland proved to be the perfect base for the variety of activities on offer and despite it being a cold and wild weekend everyone threw themselves into making the most of the occasion.
Despite the winds gusting to gale force strength the diehards amongst
us still enjoyed some fantastic diving.
We were honoured to be joined by club
stalwart, Alan Hardwick, who shared his experiences of diving with the club
over many years and in some truly remote and unique Highland locations.
Dive magazine’s feature writer Sue Scott, and local friend, gave a fascinating talk and slide show on her recent research expeditions to Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic and joined us on a dive on Sunday morning.

A big thank you must go to club member Colin Wishart and his team for all the hard work that went into making this a truly memorable weekend.
Roll on our 50th!
We're you there? -v v - [or at the 30th/21st?]
